In the performance, the authors expose and tackle the issue of dance stereotypes that faces all creators in the sphere of contemporary dance. With a variety of genres as well as a spice of humour and a pinch of madness, the performance Dance Me Out, Please! reflects the actual state of dance and dancers while attempting to dismantle the obsolete patterns that shape (superficial) public opinion on the function and position of contemporary dance. The actress, dancers and two choreographers on stage as well, unfold before us the sparkling layers of personal contemplations, stereotypes of popular culture, refined choreographies and improvisations, inspired by real life situations. The opening to the show - and an inspiration to the authors for Dance Me Out, Please! - is the duet 10 Years by the authors themselves for which they received the First Prize at the 10th Festival of Ballet Miniatures in Belgrade and the 2nd Prize and the Critics award at the 22nd Choreographic Competition in Hanover in 2008.
